Hello! 

Thank you for visiting the HELD blog! 

My name is Rachael Emma, and I am one blessed Australian girl. I am the daughter of two wonderful, Godly parents, and big sister to nine fun kiddos who are great at making me smile. I am in my final year of university, studying a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). When I'm not studying, you might find me reading, coordinating children's ministry, nanny triplets, or rearranging furniture and decorating! 

I blog here at the HELD blog, because of the constant reminders that I need from God, that He holds me close in the palm of His hand. I believe that God has created us women for a purpose - to be cherished, held close and loved by Him, so we can nurture, hold close and grow others as we become more like Jesus. I pray that as you read here you are blessed, encouraged and strengthened to be the daughter, mother, wife, sister, leader and friend God has called you to be. 

I write about loving God passionately, pursuing radical abandonment to Jesus Christ, seeking after good things (like marriage and motherhood and ministry and Biblical femininity), and finding joy and peace in the presence of God. 

John 10:27-29 - My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give the eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 

I pray that you see that Jesus Christ is the only reason I have purpose; He is my single desire, my purest thought, my only hope. I believe that God created the sky, formed the trees and breathed life into the these bones.
